CRAFTING A GAME INTO A COLLECTIBLE—LIMITED-EDITION PS5 PACKAGING FOR FANS

For Daymare: 1994 – Sandcastle, I partnered with GS2 Games to design a Limited Collector’s Edition package for PlayStation 5, produced in a run of 5,000 units and sold exclusively at GameStop. The scope included concept development, packaging design, and print-finish direction for a premium collector experience. The final package featured a custom collector’s box, exclusive bonus items, and a numbered silver certificate of authenticity—produced using variable data printing to ensure accurate sequencing across the limited run. Metallic inks, spot gloss varnishes, and a custom collector’s seal were used strategically to enhance shelf presence and communicate exclusivity.
